Our Team
Andrew Borgese, AIA, LEED AP
Founding Principal & Owner
Andrew founded INTEGRATA architecture + construction in 2002. With Andrew’s knowledge of architectural design and construction management, he sees both sides of every project, making each come together successfully.
At the onset of every project, Andrew meets personally with each client, a collaborative step he feels is critical to ensuring the success of each client's endeavor. After absorbing all that he's learned about each client's present and future lifestyle, Andrew sketches ideas to fit the needs of each client. As the design develops, his expertise in energy efficiency and sustainable building practices helps him guide clients to the best solution.
As projects require, Andrew functions as the on-site Construction Supervisor, where he manages the entire building process from site preparation to move in, ensuring that the design approved by the client is constructed as intended. During construction site visits, he monitors progress and ascertains whether phases of the construction process are in compliance with building plans and project deadlines. After building completion, he often provides additional services for expansion and relocation projects.
Andrew is a MA Registered Architect, an Unrestricted MA Licensed Construction Supervisor, and a MA Registered Home Improvement Contractor. Since 2007, Andrew has been a LEED Accredited Professional. He is a member of American Institute of Architects, US Green Building Council, Northeast Sustainable Energy Association and the National Association of Home Builders. He is an Adopter of the Architecture 2030 Challenge.
Andrew earned his Master of Architecture (MArch) degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
